Members of one of Brazil’s uncontacted indigenous tribes have been photographed in a protected area of the Amazon jungle near Peru. All pictures: Brazil National Indian Foundation (Funai)

brazil tribe

Malocas

Malocas, or communal houses, are typically thatched. They often have fires, used for cooking or heating during the night. Smaller structures are used for cooking and other tasks, while larger buildings can be used as sleeping areas, and are usually equipped with hammocks.

The thatched roof does not reach to the ground suggesting that this is an area for communal activities including cooking, socialising or preparing the paste that is used for dyes and body paint.

Cotton and Basket

The white blob in the photograph could well be cotton, and the beige area next to it is probably a basket. The cotton would either be cultivated by the tribe, or gathered in the wild. It would be woven by the women, into the kind of short skirt worn by the black figure. Cotton would also be used to make hammocks.

The woven basket has a strap which would be either worn across the forehead or over the shoulder and would be used during the collection of cotton or other produce.

Two Men

These men are trying to drive off the plane from which these photographs were taken. They are aiming their bows at the aircraft, which had returned to fly over the settlement for a second time, after making a first pass some hours earlier.

The men have large bows made from forest hardwood, which they use to hunt for animals including tapirs, monkeys, deer, wild pigs and other small mammals.

They have also painted themselves with the red dye, urucum, commonly used by tribes in the Amazon. It is made from the seeds of a fruit similar to the horse chestnut. The seeds are ground into a paste to form the dye.

The body paint is most likely a show of aggression, possibly in response to the plane’s first flyover.

Women

The black figure may be a woman, although it is impossible to be certain. That this person is not carrying a bow hints in this direction. The black body paint is called genipapo, and is made from fruit. Like the red dye it is likely to be an aggressive display.

Settlement

The series of buildings have very little space cleared around them, and are set deep into the forest. This suggests that the tribe are keen to keep themselves hidden.

The larger building is most likely used for sleeping quarters, the smaller buildings would be used for food preparation, cooking and other practical tasks.

The surrounding area has signs of cultivation by the tribe, who are probably maintaining gardens of manioc, a type of tuber which would form a large part of their staple diet.

“The three things that are most essential to achievement are common sense, hard work and stick-to-it-iv-ness.” By Thomas Edison

Below are just some of the many money-making opportunities for bloggers:

Advertising programs

RSS advertising

Sponsorship

Affiliate Programs

Digital assets

Blog network writing gigs

Business blog writing gigs

Non blogging writing gigs

Donations

Flipping blogs

Merchandising

Consulting and speaking

The following are a few things that you need to consider if you want to be successful in blogging:

Be patient - Blogging requires time and effort, not to mention a long-term vision.

Know your audience - Targeting a specific audience or group is a key to building a readership.

Be an ‘expert’ - Focus on a specific niche topic and strive to be the “go-to” blogger on that topic.

Diversify - Experiment with various ad and affiliate programs that enable you to make money online (aside from blogging).

Do not bore your readers - Focus on the layout

White spaces, line spacings, and bigger fonts make a blog welcoming to read. Certainly, it is possible to earn money from blogs. One just needs the passion and the right attitude in order to be a successful blogger. It is quite time consuming and take much effort. The most important thing is to have a good ambition to generate income from your blog. If your blog provide the readers the true value, then there is no doubt that your blog wouldn’t succeed. If you really want to make money from your blog, then you can place ads on your blog and you can sell products. If you want to monetize your blog then do it fully, do not place few ads, place a whole AdSense skyscraper.

Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.” By Napoleon Hill

Today, more than 3 million blogs can be found in the Internet. This figure is continuously growing, as the availability of various blog software, tools, and other applications make it easier for just about anyone to update or maintain the blog (even those with little or no technical background).

Because of this trend, bloggers can now be categorized into 4 main types:

Personal bloggers
- people who focus on a diary or on any topic that an individual feels strongly about.

Business bloggers
- people who focus on promoting products and services.

Organizational bloggers

- people who focus on internal or external communication in an organization or a community.

Professional bloggers

- people who are hired or paid to do blogging.

There are so many weblogs and web pages about blogs on the Internet, it will be tough to distinguish your blogging web site from all of the others. Whether you are starting up a new web site aimed at bloggers or whether you are looking to make your existing blogging site more distinctive, the key to building and maintaining a site that will capture the interest and attention of the blogging community is finding your niche. If you can fill a unique need in a way that no other web site does, you’ll be able to build a lasting readership among web surfers. Once you have discovered a niche, you will still have a lot to do, but finding your place in the blogosphere is the place to begin.

Blogging is typically done on a regular (almost daily) basis. The term “blogging” refers to the act of authoring, maintaining, or adding an article to an existing blog, while the term “blogger” refers to a person or a group who keeps a blog.

One way to discover an ideal model for your blogging web site is to look at the sites that have successfully
captured a blogging audience already to determine if you can appropriate some of their strategies to help
realize your vision. Of course, you will also need to add a unique flair to your project in order to stand apart
from your competition. Many people agree that the web sites that do the best in today’s market are the sites that have the most personality. The fiercely individual surfers who are bloggers are a demographic that
responds especially strongly to personality, so consider how you can give your site a unique and attractive
feeling by lending your own voice and sensibility to your site’s design and content.

“Always try to achieve success and every hard work always have rewards” (By Irene)

What Is Weblog or Blog?

This is just one example of a theme where to make a blog here is free to create at any kind of colors or designs and for those who still don’t know what a blog is…

Well, let me share something here for your information also. ;)

Photoshop Concept 1.0

A weblog or a blog is a website that publishes or features articles:

  • Blog posts
  • Posts
  • Entries
  • Written by individual or a group that make use of any or a combination of the following:

  • Straight Text
  • Photographs or images (photoblog)
  • Video (videoblog)
  • Audio Files (audioblog)
  • Hyperlinks

Usually presented and arranged in reverse chronological order, blogs are essentially used for the following purposes:

  • Online journal or a web diary
  • Content management system
  • Online publishing platform

  • Typical blog has the following components:

  • Post Date - The date and time of the blog entry
  • Category - The category that the blog belongs to
  • Title - The title of the blog
  • Main Body - The main content of the blog
  • RSS & Trackback - Links the blog back from the other sites
  • Comments - Commentarries that are added by the readers
  • Permalinks - The URL of the full article
  • Other optional items - Calendars, archives, blogroll and add-ons or plug-insA weblog or a blog can also have a footer, usually found at the bootom of the weblog that shows the post date, the author, the category and the stats (the number of comments or trackbacks).

Every great blogging web site starts with a great idea, and you can’t build a successful site that will last
without one. There are many great sites aimed at today’s bloggers, and competition for the attention of
this growing demographic is fierce. To make your blogging web site stand out from the pack, you will
need to offer something that no other site is currently offering, or you will need to do the same thing that an
already popular site does but in a more impressive or valuable way.

Know where to find the information and how to use it. That’s the secret of success.” - Albert Einstein

It’s 1:50 pm here and bit boring without anything to do since the lights was shutdown the whole building and I thought it was only my unit where shutdown but I did paid my bills huh! :P So I decided to go out and gets some fresh air outside but nowhere to go either. :( I went down second floor and sat down at the stairways right through the front facing the sea port, hmm really freshens me up here since the air blows from the sea and that’s one thing I like here to stay at my place because the view is facing the sea port somewhere north Jakarta. Sitting alone I can see down over the parking lot some car come and go, busy workers and kids playing. It’s really a nice day sitting at the stairways while waiting for the lights on. At last, lights was on and I haven’t noticed I spent almost four hours just sitting at the stairways hehe…

Well, I’ve got some questions to ask here and it’s kinda called
CrazyThoughts. Let’s try our minds and thoughts answering this craziest questions. ;)

  • Where do all the daylight savings hours go?
  • If you dig a hole through the center of the earth, come out on the other side, and then let go, would you be falling down or floating up?
  • Why doesn’t the hair on your arms grow as fast as the hair on your head?
  • Is eating a mermaid considered cannibalism?
  • Why is it when your sleeping it`s called drool but when your awake its called spit?
  • If a king is gay and marries another guy what is that guy to the royal family?
  • When Atheists go to Court, they can’t swear on the bible, can they?
  • Why are the adjectives ‘fast as’ and ’slow as’ often used in conjunction with hell, is hell slow or fast?
  • If a man alone in the woods said something would a woman still say he was wrong?
  • What would happen if you found a four-leaf-clover under a ladder?
  • If you only have one eye…are you blinking or winking?
  • Isn’t it weird that if you rearrange the word “teacher” you get “cheater”?
  • You know the saying “throw ya hands in the air like ya don’t care”? why bother doing that if you don’t care?
  • If you dig a hole in the south pole are you digging up or down?
  • If you were a pastor, and you were getting married, would you hire a pastor, or would you do the wedding yourself?
  • Why is Mickey Mouse bigger than his dog Pluto?
  • What came first, the fruit or the color orange?
  • Why do you click on start to exit Microsoft Windows?
  • What’s the opposite of opposite?
  • If somebody vanished without a trace, how do people know they are missing?

    Coffee

A cup of coffee.Wake up early morning or wherever I may be with out the smell and the taste of brewed coffee life’s not complete for me.

A beverage as black as ink, useful against numerous illnesses, particularly those of the stomach. Its consumers take it in the morning, quite frankly, in a porcelain cup that is passed around and from which each one drinks a cupful. It is composed of water and the fruit from a bush called bunnu.

    Blue Jeans

Every time feel so uneasy not wearing my jeans, just feel comfortable with the looks of being sexy with tight blue jeans.

    Hand & Body LOtion

When it comes to caring for my skin, vitamins and good nutrition can be just as beneficial as a good skin care treatment. Lotions with vitamins are important in keeping my skin looking and feeling healthy. They can also help prevent and treat any problem areas and skin disorders. Really nice to have a healthy and smooth skin. :)

    Notebook

Well, here I can express everything, do anything, make friends with a lot of people and a lot more. Can make money and most especially is the most easiest way for communicating to my love ones.

    G-string Lingerie

Ohh I really love collecting this things and really can’t leave the store with out buying new g-strings for my collections.:D

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHOM TO MARRY?

You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
    – Alan, age 10

No person really decides before they grow up who they’re going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you’re stuck with.
    – Kristen, age 10

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
    – Camille, age 10

HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
    – Derrick, age 8

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don’t want any more kids.
    – Lori, age 8

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
    – Lynnette, age 8 (isn’t she a treasure)

On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
    – Martin, age 10

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I’d run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
    – Craig, age 9

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
    When they’re rich.
    – Pam, age 7 (smart girl)

The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn’t want to mess with that.
    - - Curt, age 7

The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It’s the right thing to do.
    – Howard, age 8

IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
It’s better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
    – Anita, age 9 (bless you child)

HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN’T G ET MARRIED?
There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn’t there?
    – Kelvin, age 8

    And the #1 Favorite is……..
HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?

Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
    – Ricky, age 10 (very good boy)

… If all men are like Ricky maybe we all have the good relationship in marriage, isn’t it?…..

The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.” - Theodore Roosevelt

I’d really hate having a period and it’s very disturbing for me now while working with my blog, got an ideas to share with my readers but because of this unexpected visitor of mine makes my head seemed drowned into deep suffocating hole. If reincarnations where true and if ever there is… I would ask the Lord to reincarnate me not as a woman but I’d rather be a man. ;) Gee how I wish to be a man because man don’t deliver babies and walk back and fort, here and there for nine months before delivery. But as a woman with two kids now and even though at my age 32 now is I’d still enjoy being “sexy” and I just can’t imagine it later if how do I look after I marry (again) :) and gets another baby? Gosh, can I still maintain a body like mine now or…. would it be possible for me to have babies then? :(
